PAST INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Howard Hudson from Santa Barbara, California was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of Lions Clubs International at the association’s 98th International Convention held in Honolulu, Hawaii, June 26 through 30, 2015. Past Director Hudson is a certified public accountant.
Lions, Lioness and Leos returned to Chicago, Illinois for the 1983 USA/Canada Lions Forum,“Strength Through Leadership” was the theme and one of the featured speakers was Danny Cox of Orange, California whose topic was, “Leadership – When the Heat Is On.”. A special feature of the Forum was a tour of the Lions Clubs International

In 1946, four more clubs were chartered in Bedford, Parrsboro, Shubenacadie and Truro. Lionism moved into Cape Breton in 1948 with the charter of clubs in New Waterford and Sydney. We are proud to have had two International Directors from our district who represented Constitutional Area 2 on the LCI Board.
